If you're all about the Harlequin

I suppose a venture like this should begin with a clarification of the bounds of the blog. I’m pretty obviously going to focus on genre. If I had to make a descending list of what types of birds I’ll be talking about the most, it’d look like this:

Crime/Noir/Hardboiled/Detective

Espionage
Western
Mystery


Horror
Sci-fi



Fantasy



Romance.


I hold nothing against those genres lower on the list, though it still grosses me out that my grandmother used to consume “purple headed warrior vs. love pudding” bodice rippers like so many candy peanuts. My interests simply lie with the top of the list.
